We are pleased to report that we received planning permission for the following projects this month:
A contemporary new build dwelling in the sought after area of Duffield Road.
The client approached Planning Design after their first planning application with another agent was refused by Derby City Council. Planning Design worked closely with the client to produce a bespoke single storey dwelling that met their family’s accommodation needs and design requirements. As the development was considered ‘tandem development’ by the LPA, discussions were held with Derby City Council to ensure proximity issues with the neighbours were avoided. The application was approved at officer level.
Extensions to lodges and associated new carports at Hopton.
Kitchen extensions to a set of three holiday lodges were approved this month, together with two new carports in the district of Derbyshire Dales. The application was initially controversial with the Local Planning Authority and Parish Council, however working with the Planning Officer and client we reached a solution. The lodges are proposed to become three separate dwellings after planning consent was achieved by Planning Design at appeal in September 2015.
