Planning & Design worked with a couple to design a contemporary dwelling in Darley Dale. The site had formerly received planning permission in 2007 for a traditional cottage style dwelling which had since expired.
The new proposal takes precedent of the surrounding building’s buff brick and stone at ground floor level and utilises zinc cladding at first floor level. The property takes advantage of the long views across Darley Dale and back towards Matlock, with a rear balcony and glazing to the apex.
